The devastating Merapi eruption in Jogja happened in October 2010, leaving hundreds killed and over 350,000 people were evacuated from the affected area. With Indonesia Red Cross and Spanish Red Cross, in their programme to provide clean water post eruption, we had the opportunity to film and photograph the heart-breaking city and its surroundings. The strengths that the refugees have made a strong impression in our heart, making this more than just a clean water campaign, but an imprinted experience.
